Fui convidado a expor e fazer um Live Painting em um painel na IX Mostra Nixon de Arte e Cultura Surf, também conhecido como "Festival Alma Surf 2012", organizado pela revista brasileira de surf Alma Surf com curadoria de Adriano Vasconcellos. Foi uma grande honra ter sido convidado e estar expondo novamente neste festival que promove a arte e a cultura praiana. Sempre penso sobre o lugar onde este evento acontece e isso sempre me traz motivação para participar deste que é um dos poucos e grandes festivais de arte, cinema e música de cultura surf. O evento acontece todos os anos desde 2004 no Parque do ibirapuera, São Paulo, mais especificamente no prédio da Bienal, projetado por Oscar Niemeyer que durante os primeiros anos em 1953 recebeu a obra Guernica de Pablo Picasso entre outros artista importantes. Muitas Bienais de arte, arquitetura e design e semanas de moda aconteceram desde sua inauguração em 1951, e é com muito prestígio que levo meus trabalhos e me sinto honrado de estar expondo neste templo de arte moderna no Brasil.

Fiona mon ami de l'Afrique du Sud, venus de Toulouse à Cape Town où il a voyagé au sud du Brésil pour visiter l'île de Florianopolis et la côte nord de Santa Catarina et le surf à Praia do Rosa, Ibiraquera et Cabo de Santa Marta.
TONS OF INSPIRATION
In July of 2005 I was participating on my first important art exhibition at MIS (Museu da Imagem e Som) in São Paulo, it was the II Mostra Internacional da Arte e Cultura Surf, my artwork was selected to be part of the exhibition together with the most important artists from the beach culture. Walking around MIS, during a quiet afternoon I found Art Brewer and Craig Stecyk III seating on the museum's bench, Mark Sutherland was sitting on the floor with his back laid on the wall drawing with a fine brush and black ink, I did'nt saw his drawing but I guess he was making a portrait of Art an Craig. I came close and Adriano Vasconcellos (Alma Surf) introduced myself to them, I didnt know what to say or what to ask at that moment. it was like a blank in my mind, I just reacted as an usual fan , so I asked if they could give me an autograph, they did on the back of those print cards I prepared to bring to the art show, and I gave one sample for each one . So here is the autograph of Art Brewer and Craig Stecyk III, back from 2005 at the most inspirational art show I have been to.
